What does sangha or community mean to you?
Support for living the Precepts, living mindfully and with equanimity. We share the vision for a lighter world.
Do you practice green living? If yes, how?
Have downsized to a studio apartment, and use as little energy as possible, although not yet biking to work (3 miles) . Buy as much local food as possible, and fund additional carbon reduction projects like turbines on native lands to offset my carbon, etc.
Do you meditate ? If yes what is your practice?
Yes. 20 minutes mindfulness in the morning and also practice mindful eatingas much as possible. Member of 2 sanghas weekly.
What are your favorite eco-friendly products, places to hang out or shop in, and/or web sites?
All CLF's of course, prgrammable thermostats, 35 mpg vehicle and as much walk-vs-ride as possible. Hang in local book stores//cafes -vs Starbucks, and the City Market Co-op. Member of The Climate Project: www.theclimateproject.org.
