- About Me
- Currently based in Houston, Texas. As a visual artist I strive to visually capture a world that lives beyond our conventional senses. Arriving at the images that appear on my canvases is akin to a spiritual experience for me.
I don’t have a strict protocol behind what materials I use and how I obtain. A lot of what I use is given to me at this point by people who know what I do. A side effect is now people give me things to paint on. It’s like the work started some transaction with the way people think about the material around them.
I attempt to make the viewer understands immediately that there is a dimensional aspect to my work that does not always translate well from flat images
- What does sangha or community mean to you?
- Community means to define me.
- Do you practice green living? If yes, how?
- Yes, recycle, reuse, compost.. I am aware of my carbon print in the world-I don't own a car. Activist in my community to working to improve the bike lane and ride Critical Mass in every city I visit to raise awareness about the need to reduce the amount of automobiles that engulf the city. I worked with Julia Butterfly Hill and was apart of a movement, vision mission to "green San Francisco, Oakland CA, and then the world"

- Yes, Jainism.
