Shayne penned T.D. Jakes: America’s New Preacher (2007) and Holy Mavericks: Evangelical Innovators and the Spiritual Marketplace (2009). I read T.D. Jakes: America’s New Preacher earlier this year and fell in love with it. Shayne’s book influenced my new book, That Which Awakens Me. I even quoted from his book in my memoir! Yeah it was that GOOD!
